Prescription Information
If needed, we are able to prescribe stimulant medications for children with ADHD, without needing to wait and see a paediatrician. However, complex or indeterminate cases may still need to be referred on for specialist review before treatment can be started.
Preparing for Your Appointment
To help ensure a smooth consultation, we recommend:
-
Having a recent hearing and vision test for your child (within the past 12 months)
-
Bringing details of your child’s regular GP to the appointment, so they can be included in ongoing care
Fees and Additional Costs
We endeavour to minimise costs to families, but in some situations there may still be out of pocket costs associated for some services. This will be discussed during your consultation if required.
